I had a dream

This night I had a dream,
For a long time I dreamt again.

No one can take it away from me,
No one can bring me down to day!

At least…
That was what I thought.

I dreamed that you and I were together,
The whole world was ours.
No one could hurt us,
nobody could tell us anything.
It was you and I..
Just the two of us.
Nobody could take you away from me.
It felt so good!

Today I felt so good,
It began as the best day of my life.

Until..
Until that moment.
It felt like my world collapsed,
Like I was alone in this world.

No I know it was just a dream,
a stupid dream.
How could I dream something like this.

I saw you with her,
now my day is going to end like the worst day of my life.
It is never going to be you and me,
Just because you don’t have the guts to break up with her!

I’m still thinking about my dream,
I’m still wondering if one day it maybe could be.

And I realise,
That dreaming is not illegal,
maybe it’s stupid,
but it’s legal.
And no one can take that dream away from me!
