If power speaks of the flex of a muscle
Or the speed of a bullet
Then why are my limbs heavy
Of hearing your voice
And feeling your words
Then why is my will enslaved
To the glow of your eyes
And the warmth of your body
If people are corrupt
And only think of themselves
How come, I forget me
And only think of you
Every moment we are together
Or alone
Why then, do I know
That I will end my pulse
Just to prolong yours
The pulse I never want to miss
Cause this pulse gives life to your brain
your skin, your eyes even your shadow
Which will never cast the shade,
Without the enlightening tone of your hide
If all we want is live long and reproduce
Then why don’t I care about tomorrow
When I lay in your arms
Then why do we want you to take hormones
To keep the child resting in your womb
If after the ‘h’ comes ‘I’
Why do I want it to be ‘U’
It seems that world isn’t as it seems
While my body is here behind the computer screen
I know I’m not here, for my soul is left away in your arms
My soul being there, to keep watch
So you will always know
My embrace might have left,
But I will never leave
My soul being there
To see me again
And learn me where I should be
Embracing my one and only,
The one who wants
And will probably be
My only piece of destiny
