Born as equal innocent creatures, sweet and adorable
The future is wide open and everything is possible
We could all serve Allah and his holy land
Or become Satan’s diabolical right hand
The course of life is determined by elements beyond control
By the environment and the circumstances in which we are born
Mutations appear throughout the years
What will it be, peace or disharmony?
Look what I have become
A war machine with a smoking gun
Look what I have become
A noted scientist, observing the sun
Factors from the past determine our destiny
They affect our character and the person we’re going to be
Don’t judge or condemn the deeds of others
For it could have been you who killed your brothers
It could have been you who filled the ovens
Or you who blew the children away
It could have been you who helped the disabled
You who freed the slaves from their chains
We’re hardly in control of the beings we become
So how decide who is good and who is wrong?
Have we the right to judge the monsters of our society?
Were they able to change the course of their history?
