A lonely heart
From the first time we met
I knew she was the one
And when she spoke her name in soft words
The letters were burned in my heart
So I asked her to take it
But she didn’t want it
She tried to give it back
But it was no longer mine
It was her name carved between the veins
From then on my heart drifts between souls
And now and then somebody finds it
And keeps it for a while
But what do you do with a heart
Encrypted with another name
You can play with it a while
But it will never be truly yours
So you have to let it go
The heart bounded to an existence in solitude
Floating on the waves
Never finding its harbor
But a heart cant live like this
Without somebody to take care of it
To give it the love it needs to exist
The heart wilt slowly disappear
Fading like a shadow in a rising sun
Ans so I hope, she will change her mind
Before it’s to late
And my heart stops to exist
Taking me with her.
