As I took my dog for a walk
People stared at me whit faces filled with hate
The wind howled around my ears
And the rain was thrown at me from the sky
Dogs barked loudly at me
The birds were silent as a tomb
Trees struck me viciously with their branches
And my dog walked beside me with its tail between its legs
Yet I didn’t care about the people, the wind or the rain
Nor did I care for the dogs, the birds, or the trees
For the only thing on my mind was you
And the heavenly light that surrounds you
