When I was walking through the endless woods,
Cold was passing me by.
I was afraid and speeded up my pace,
I was cold, had to cry.
I saw your face in trees and leaves,
In dark waters, deep and so cold.
Your long hair in the morning breeze,
I walk, leave my problems unsolved.
When I walk through the endless halls of the castle,
My feet do not touch the floor.
I loved you with every part of my cold cold body,
I walk outside and I close the door.
On the edge of the courtyard I cry and cry,
You left on your horse with a fair farewell.
With shield and sword you'd ride out.
Without me, now I'm alone, you fell.
When I walk through heaven's endless fields,
I hear your call, it warms my heart.
You have taken me in your arms again,
This life here's a new start.
No battles and bloodspilling will happen here,
Here's peace, no more hatred.
You will stay here with me forever,
Until the roof of time will fall on my head.
