Envision the absence,
the absence of life.
The wind whispers in my ear
soft and silver petals in the rain
a caress of something
a caress of beauty
but not a caress of you.
Golden rays of sunlight
enlighting the daffodils around my bed
trees and bushes, a fairy ring of dust
but in this lonely world of longing
that doesn't seem just.
I keep longing for something,
a word I can't describe,
but in this world of no being
imagining anything is over my head.
Dreams and hopes of silver visions,
caught between the moon, the stars and me
I hope and pray, keep dreaming
some day this bubble will crack and burst
returning life to me.
Ambercoloured silence around me,
ambercoloured dreams envisioned,
now envision the absence,
the absence of life,
to understand me.
