For once we were
as they now stand
Where once we stood
they now are
with empty hand
And heart and head
as they stand
so unkown still, yet
never more meant
To be as should
and do as could
like us, as we
sometimes blindly see
With acclaimed wisdom more or less
and warning words
at their hopefull nothingness
stay our cries unheard
While voices as small
as ours once were
with a whisper say it all
And suddenly aware
of us standing there
and how we need to be
