I speak shit up, I write shit down
I get tired of shallowness and the same old town.
Don’t confuse me telling the truth with being grumpy kid
I just don’t put sparkles on the facts, that’s it.
I follow my heart and if it breaks in two
Every song and every poem will be ‘bout you.
At least I speak up and live with no regret
And learn from my mistakes before I rest my head.
Though I miss a woman’s touch, I miss a woman’s voice
I stay true to my myself and to my own choice.
Cause I don’t want anyone for a single night
I want that soul to soul fire on an endless ride.
Don’t break my solitary for a day of fun
You can sit on some boys with a loaded gun.
But if you’re tired of being the one on top
Maybe you’re ready for a real man’s job
