Today,
Right before I went to sleep,
Venus and the Moon were placed next to each other.
So very far, and so vastly different...
And yet,
In their glowing solitary,
This dazzling pair seemed as if they're only inches away,
Making the most perfect couple in the virginal twilight.
And as the darkness fell
And blankets of clouds embraced my land,
Both disappeared.
Oh, they are still very far, Ms. Venus and Mr. Moon.
Even more vastly apart, so it seems.
But at that fortunate moment,
The one I had managed to watch through,
Both were silently embracing eachother.
I could only wonder
What they might have said
If they could speak.
