I’m running, running, running
Running trough the woods
The wood with all his obstacles
The animals are observing me
They’ve never seen someone running this fast
They wonder where I’m running to
Where am I running to?
When I look behind me, I see the darkness
In front of me I see a glimpse of the light
I was in the dark, but I’m running away from it
I’m running away from the darkness with his problems
Because the darkness means, I can’t live
I’m running towards the light
I can see the light at the other side of the wood
That’s the place where I can live
The animals are observing me,
Some try to help me to get there
And others try to hold me from getting there
I’m getting tired
Tired from running away
Running away from the darkness
But I know it’s necessary
Because when I get to the light
I can finally live again
I’m coming closer and closer to the light
I can already see the end of the wood
I can see people smile, I see them living
I’m in the light know, it seems to last for years
Everything seems so perfect
But I’m forgetting something
I’m forgetting, that also here,
The sun has to go down at the end of the day
And then I have to run again
I’m also forgetting that I can’t stay in the light forever
It’s great that I can live my life here, but I also need to rest,
I can’t keep running from the darkness and the problems
I have to go back because, in that darkness is my life
I have to deal with the darkness,
So the sun can come up again, at the end of the night
