Digging trenches, gun in hand
We wait for the sergeants’ command.
The war has been harder then steel
Colder then ice, numbing us till we couldn’t feel
Bullets fly, we cannot die
We fight for a just and glorious cause
The task was simple, objectives set
We will show them the meaning of death
An explosion rocked the earth
Everyone covered in frosted dirt
The German panzer fired away.
But we could not lose this day.
We may have been forgotten
Our enemies all lie rotting
