He sacrificed himself unnecessarily
He said goodbye to these earthbound vicinities
He surrendered himself to his personal demons
In order to gain permanent passivity
I see the Hanged Man, motionless
His blank face stares, emotions still unclear
Though unspeaking and inaudible
His voice still expresses atmosphere
He suspended himself from any pleasure in life
He reluctantly accepted his inevitable fate
He renounced those around him who were blind to his warnings
And with growing impatience his final hour he'd await
Would a new point of view have showed a different way
An inner harmony that would inspire carrying on
Would more time have encouraged him to contemplate
His early self-inflicted martyrdom
I see the Hanged Man, motionless
His blank face stares, penetrates me with fear
Though unspeaking and inaudible
His haunting voice forever lingers here
He slowly succumbed and conformed to the gloom
With enthusiastic anxiety he peeked at the top
Inactively waited for some sort of Salvation
Then feeling beyond saving he finally gave up...
