Let me recognise you
Be who I know you are
You can't change who you are
Even if you wanted to
you'd just be hiding again
trying to suppress your feelings
There's no need for that
Some people can be blind
hurting everyone without realising it
but you can conquer their words
Hiding would make you small
leave you thinking you're worth less
And what would it lead to in the end?
More pain, more misery
