If you were lying in my bed
right here next to me
I would whisper in you ear
some words I've always said
"I love you,
I'll keep loving you
if I had to die
I won't, because of you."
Then I would see
your eyes and your mouth
so peacefully
smiling at me
I would answer these calls
with a kiss...a tear
and saying
"It isn't a dream
it's just for real
Trust me
and I'll be your king
and you my queen."
