Old diva
She feels alone and sad, by God and man forgotten
Self-pitying she thinks her self at sea in solitude
Where quietly she disappears beneath the waters
While ‘round her fishes play in silent callousness
She thinks of her varied and tumultuous past
The footsteps she has left in many different places
It does not fit her image to fade away in stillness
She wants one last hurrah, once last applause
Not silently, she goes into dark cold water
She kicks and screams when water nears her lips
Her fearless fiery nature rises to the surface
And screams,” watch for the carnage in my wake.”
