Building up wings
He left a trail of pain behind
Left this world with only her on his mind
All his misery made his heart crack
Kept on crying, wanting her back
Fell down into the darkness of his heart
His concience was tearing him apart
Almost drowned in the rain of tears
Driven insane by his love and fears
Now he's learning to fly
Just to keep his feet dry
Flying on wings of love
Taking her to the heavens above
Slowly his wings are growing
And soon he will be showing
That he was spending every day
Fighting all his troubles away
