stop looking

I often lie awake at night

And really try with all my might
To figure out exactly what it is
A certain something that I miss?

I think about myself a lot
About the things I lost
And the things I've got

The things I lost along the way..
I try to find them back

Every freaking day

They say it's wrong to keep on looking

Because the one thing you really need
Is much closer than you expect
But it's not something you can see

I guess they are kinda right

And I should stop looking
For a miracle of light

As long as I keep the fire burning
The light of love is still in me
And when someone refuses to see

How beautiful and magical it is

It simply wasn't mend to be

This great life is really worth living
No one will ever stop me from loving

No soul will stop me from giving

'Cause it's true what they say
Love only feels better
When you give it away

and you are so right... I also think a lot about the same things... But what if you give love and people use it, give a little bit back. And then boom they drop you, like the friendship was nothing. Even though you give your love... And at moments like that I just think, is it really good to keep on giving love? But now I read this, I know you are right.. So I think we should keep on trying always.. but yeah... mooi geschreven... liefssss
