Be careful with what you wish for…
I made a wish and it came true
But there’s a catch, malicious trap
Desire meant to make me blue
Tears me apart
And feeds my doubts
Growing silently in my heart
A lesson I probably have to learn
The hard way it seems
All I can do is wait and yearn
It would be better to live in dreams
But then again what do I gain
With closed eyes nothing is what it seems
I’ll wish again on cold dark nights
When stars shine high up in the sky
But I’ll recall days like this
And be more careful with what I wish
