Cupids arrow
A lonely heart,
Cupids arrow, always passing
Reflecting an image, a torn face.
But no heart as empty for love to strike
The golden arrow, never missing
Send on it’s way, with no defense
The heart pierced, love spreads
Mixed with blood, every vain is touched
But the wrong time, the wrong place
Tender poison eats away
The long awaited gift, now cursed
A trojan horse
The heart, hungering to be shot,
Now bound to a loving death,
And solitude
