Daylight Like A Enemy
Little death stars
Shining down on my broken heart
Wrapped in silver moonlight
Hate for the night soon made a start
They taught me to hate
To hate forever, the day
I never hungered for light like others
Candlelight is all my eyes saw anyway
As I sat down behind the window
Looking at the bird in the sky
Some kind of sadness flew inside my heart
Was so painful that it made me cry
The most beautiful color
I thought was green
Temptation to touch the grass
Went noting more than only a dream
Because of the fear for daylight in between
I will never feel
Butterflies or sun
Because of the fear for daylight
Inside a nightmare where it al begun…
