Finding the reason..
A lovely smile rules my face
As heartbroken knifes are cutting through my skin
And all I breath is happiness
While silent tears are burning within
I keep laughing at their jokes
But my heart just wants to cry
And I keep saying that I'm fine
While I wish my memories could die
They all think they know me
As I play my life's maskerade
And they think I won't hurt myself
While I reflect on the scars I made
I never asked to be alive
But I guess that I should stay
There's a reason why I'm here
Although it may not be visible today
And deep down inside I'm very scared
But all I can do is pray
That this reason which is the only difference
Between me and Life to part
That this reason will involve
Me finding back my heart..

| Je schrijft nog altijd schitterende gedichten, alleen vind ik 't jammer dat je cursief afwisselt met gewone tekst, als je 't per strofe had gedaan dan ging 't nog wel, maar nu lees ik telkens weer alleen maar de cursieve tekst... Maar als ik de tekst eruit haal en gewoon neerzet dan vind ik hem heel erg mooi geschreven liefs Paul |
