black and blue
truth smacked in my face
a look that i couldn't undo
signature i can't erase
fathomable and very plain
but coated in misleading mist
around the failure and the pain,
around the imaginary chain around my wrist
is that what you are misconstruing
something you would rather forget
i compensate with things i'm doing
to beautify my silhouette
your stare is rather burning
my vulnerability is dumb
yes it's honesty for which i'm yearning
but i hold on eventhough i'm numb
feeble's not what i wanna seem
but you singe away my cover
yes, i'm like an evil dream
but i'm still trying to look like a lover
