Saltless
Oh dread the day that they should call us
saltless
Tasteless, lifeless
ill-conceived and an overall expendable waste of oxigen
That we are mere shadows on the black surface of the earth
unable to feel life streaming out from it's origin
I know we are but mortal clay
but do not stand back as if to say
I’ll have no part in life
I won’t deal with what I find
Behind the curtains lifted by the blind
on this foolish stage filled with speechless characters
living a life behind the scene’s
for themselves, inside themselves
and without ever a smile
Let us sing, let us dance through all life’s given day’s
let us enjoy every given breath
living life like a fire set ablaze
and
be not fearfull of the inevitable ending some people call death
Be the salt of the earth
spread some taste around
do not be another wasted birth
for a lonesome living bound
Be wise with the wisdom you posess
and never ever turn out to be
Just saltless...
