We've had ours for years and years
blindly
we build upon the assumptions of others
so
we don't have to think about our fears
and
don't step out, be unoriginal
like us, come on, join in
into the mass of the faceless crowd all
into the greyness of conformity to live
an Ikea-sponsored life with
dental coverage and airmiles-discounts
all of them traveled to nowhere life-like at all
Hello there mister perfect faking prodent smile
like us all left your conscience over in some ditch
Have aims in life, always behave
grow old and die rich
so you'll get an expensive lonely grave
making money succes and fame
insuranceplans marketvalue and morgage payment
no one will ever know your name
economycontrol and growth
making people rich and all the same
producing brand new cars
equal, all of us can join this game
stabilising every perfect family
and bloody murdering your identity
