there never was much hope
but still
i stood on your side,
didn't let you go,
i was your support.
now you realise how difficult it is
and all your hope has flown away
you don't even want to see me anymore
you told me that i could not stay
there never was much hope
but nevertheless
i was there for you,
held a light for you,
i didn't went away.
still, i'm not allowed to enter
you see me as nothing
you blame me for everything
there never was much hope
but at least
i was there
and if you want it
i am still here.
