Her hero..
She likes him, and when love came to mind
She liked him, but not his kind
She didn’t like it when he kept on trying
Trying to save her, but kept denying
Or when he did just the opposite
And she kept telling him to quit
Or this unsatisfied look in his eyes
When she again told him lies
When she told him she was fine
And he’d read between the stripes and lines
Somewhere she just hoped he’d understand
He’d pull her out of it, offering his hand
But he missed the signs
He kept on reading between the wrong lines
And she gave up, gave up hope
Knew it was something she had to cope
To be her hero is what he was craving,
But she just needed him to be a superhero
For someone who’s worth saving…

So what is it about her, that makes her not worth having her own hero? Or was this guy just not her hero, to her? Yet nicely written..

A superhero is a bit to much to ask, I'm afraid..but why not just tell him if something's wrong? Wouldn't that be easier? Anyway..it's a nice poem.
