Art defied...
"Save my son"
you whisper to the pages
of the book you know by heart
choke it down and cry it up
grief too deep for any art
"Save my son"
you pray in silence
to the one who didn't save His own
desperate and alone you bleed to say
what to art is yet unknown
...
Through this I can only see
Tears are poetry
