Eyes closed, but watching.
And I watch you with my lashes

Wish your words would slip thru my fingers
like my tears are doing now
unseen, unheard and so unimportant
if they don’t hit but only flow
Where’s the smile I used to be
and the flowers I’ve always put around
this ice is just too slippy
and I can’t fly ‘cause my wings are boud
The warmth of your embrace is killing
‘cause you turned the meaning wrong
your touch just burns my skin
like all of this cigarettes have done
Is this just some sick cycle
I’ve been contracted to for life
do I really need to play some more
of this breath-taking game
or may I just give up my strife?
