A Day of Prayer
A time to think
Of all those lost
Our missing link
A time of silence
To pray above
For all those cared
To those we love
Tragedy struck
And lives were lost
The job was done
But for what cost?
To see a nation
Struck and dying?
To see little kids
Scared and hiding?
That is what happened
Their bodies they lay
So this is what we do
Today we pray
Our prayer today
For all those above
Time spent on all
Each one we love
A Day of Remembrance
A day of thought
Their lives are gone
So hard they fought
Remembrance of those
Whose lives they touched
Crying because
We loved them so much
The kind and sweet
Their hearts so dear
They will be missed
Surely have no fear
We miss them so
They meant so much
We are truly blessed
Our lives they touched
So here we all are
Their bodies are gone
But souls and spirits
Alive for so long
So please light a candle
Tonight at Seven
In remembrance of all
For they are in Heaven
