I stopped believing

I stopped believing in the dreams
that only seem to fade away
everytime I come to close
to the things my dreams have told

I stopped believing in my wishes
because a wish is futile when
the truth brings only sorrow
if believing was only false hope

I stopped believing in the truth
because truth is just a lie
believed by the many on this world
who do not wish to live themselves
