In the forest we hide
Our faces from he
That haunts us far and wide:
I don't want him to find me!
Up in the trees we cry
For those that lost
Their lives when the river went dry
And the air smelt like frost
The winter is coming in
And we must find shelters
From the cold and forget our sin
As we struggle to protect our elders
The snow will come, the demon
Will enter pur lives,
Take away our freedom
And leave us with heavy sighs
The light will shine no more
The warmth of the sun is gone,
She will shine nevermore
For she cries for the lost one
"May he rest in peace,
May his mind be untroubled and save"
We say this as we shudder and sneeze,
Staring sadly at his forsaken grave.
