If we would kiss
If we would kiss I promise you,
the world around would feel it to.
Violins would start to play,
and day was night and night was day.
The Sun himself would dim the lights,
Spielberg would claim the movie rights.
Your lips on mine, my hand in yours,
a background choir singing chorus.
Without a sign the world would fade,
disappearing by the love we made.
And quietly the crowd goes by,
meaningless under a purple sky.
If you would kiss me I would sense,
the only good in life’s nonsense.
