Find a place; don’t be a disgrace
The crowd goes wild as it sees the child
With eyes so white, they shine no light
A cloudy haze has settled down
Won’t he see the sun for me?
I can’t see the love in his eyes
Blind child’s eye in which I must see
will bring no peace for me
Young child grows, his maturity shows
in body and mind, if you look you will find
the times he fought against word and thought
in the struggle he calls his life
Won’t he feel the sun for me?
Can’t he feel the love all around?
Blind mans eye in which I must see
will bring no peace to me
A child before, now a man for sure
For the crowd a disgrace, just a waste of space
This mans life has known too much strife
but his eyes don’t reflect any pain
Won’t he feel the sun for real?
Can’t he feel the love in my heart?
Blind mans eye through which I must see
will bring no peace for me
