I was pulled under black water
Drowning in the river of sadness
I grabbed myself by the throat
Could not breath anymore, no
I was choking in the darkness

I was not able to see with my eyes
Although I held them wide open
The black had surrounded me
There was no way out of there

The water so cold ran through me
Had I tried to take just one breath
But I was strangled by the river
My body sank paralyzed to the bottom
I could not swim my way back

I was getting weaker and weaker
But was growing stronger and stronger
Did I lose, because I lost my life
But did I win, because I won the death
