What if....
What if I had been born as a boy
With a cool police car as my favourite toy
I’d hate all the girls and pull out their hair
I’d be covered in dirt and no one would care
What if I had been born as a clown
I would always be happy and never feel down
I would play pranks all day and never be bored
I would proudly keep a record of all the laughs that I scored
What if I had been born just to be wild
I’d refuse to grow up and always be child
Enjoying life at the playground with nothing to worry
And peeing my pants without being sorry
What if I hadn’t been born at all
I’d still be a sperm, slimy and small
Waiting with the others in one little room
Till we are released and can swim to a womb
I sometimes just wonder how life would be
If I hadn’t been born to grow up being me
