I got scared
I got scared of writing
there are so many words
floating in my lost mind
that I just cannot select
the matching ones that will
be able to truly reflect
my inner feelings or even
the beatings of my heart
I got scared of speaking
there are so many things
that I could say, words
that will only make it all
even more difficult than it
already is, yet I long to
speak for days and nights
and make you understand
Look at me, I am confessing.
Baby, I got scared.
