A deep valley between mounintains high
And angry, who's shadows seem to fly
Across evergreens, chasing birds in the sky,
Shadows from the mountains angry and high
The sun lowers herself, then lays down to sleep
In a bed of fire, but down here in the valley we keep
The fires low, and we moarn, for the moon makes us weep,
The moon who rises when the sun lays down to sleep
The moon rules the night and stays while the sun is away,
Away to sleep the whole night long, she'll rise the next day
When the moon sets off to haunt a continent which says nay!
We do not want you here. We call for the sun, you must away!
So the moon leaves them and comes back to us
As soon as the sun sets te sleep she'll come across
The night, over the mountains high, then we'll cry because
Her shadows in the mountains bring nightmares to us
Nightmares which haunt our warriors like the night
Haunts our childrens dreams, chases them, makes them fight
Against demons, yet their strength, try as they might,
Is insufficient, so they run to the sun as they take flight
With the sun they are safe
There they feel happy and brave,
As a warrior facing a dragon outsideit's cave,
So they run to the sun to feel warm and safe
