Ode to the broken hearted
I pay Tribute to the broken Hearted
to all those that feel outsmarted
Who's heart controlled over sound mind
Who inspite of deception remain blind
Who found meaning to the phrase "True Love"
and much more in a single dove
To all those that had a glorious life
and saw themselves as husbands or wives
Who woke up in a living nightmare
and suddenly became aware
that somehow the're alone again
and feel everything but human
Abandoned, forgotten and most of all betrayed
and the thought of love makes them afraid
How can you open your heart once more?
the way you did before
If this next love is another lie
your heart is sure to die
I pay tribute to those that don't give up
they who don't surrender, never stop
Untill they get what they are entitled to
to find someone who loves them to

| if I find the middle course I''ll let you know..I just hope you have a lot of patience.. Not always easy to go on with a broken heart.. but I guess there''s nothing else we can do but keep searching for that true love.. very well-written x! |
