I picked some flowers for you today.
Red roses that were in full array.
And when I came to bring them near,
my thoughts for you were very clear.
Of friendship and caring and beauty too.
Of all thins soft and wonderfully you.
Of bright big smiles and starry eyes.
Of bittersweet parting and sad goodbyes.
