You used to be there
Next to me
Holding my hand
Telling me that everything
Is going to be all right
But now
You aren’t there anymore
You don’t hold my hand anymore
You don’t tell me anymore
That everything is going to be all right
And still I’m asking myself
Where is she?
What is she doing?
Is she really gone?
Or is she still here?
Holding my hand in silent?
Still telling me words of comfort,
But I just can’t hear her
And I just can’t see her
But deep down in my heart
I know she is gone
That she left me behind
With only a memory
Of the two of us
Together
