Alone
You told me to hold your hand
and told me we would walk these dark roads together.
I did it alone
You told me to close my eyes
and said you would lead me trough the darkness.
I did it alone
after all the things you said
and after all the things you promissed,
I realise you always let me do everything alone.
now i'm older and I see that i don't need you.
i can do it on my own,
i can do it alone.
