Overpowered
Overpowered,
the emptiness walked right in as i opened the door
it stormed through me although it was uninvited
took it's place and simply stared at me
the ground opened, and i fell into a deep hole
nothing to hold on to, surrounded by the absence
of light i stumble and fall tumbling round and round
bouncing into the darkness as i twist and turn
wondering where this will lead, lost all grip
and suddenly staggered into the land of the unknown
