Time..
Time slips through my fingers
Everything changes and goes so fast
I can’t get a hold on it
And I’m still living in the past
I’ve been in so many places
I realise maybe it just doesn’t exist
I never found what I was looking for
Maybe my wishes are on a too long list
I want life to remain what it is
I want it to last forever, not for a while
It has to be just like you
I can’t stand your little smile
You’re the only thing that is certain
And I can’t understand
Why it has to be like this
But I can’t forever hold your hand
