Closed Eyes…
When I close my eyes,
The world around me fades away.
I see a perfect picture,
You and me together.
I open my eyes,
And reality slaps into my face.
I know I’m alone,
I know we aren’t together anymore.
It hurts like hell,
With you I felt like I was in heaven.
Now it’s all sorrow,
Now all that’s left is regret.
You see my closed eyes,
You know I’m afraid to open them again.
You know you’re the only one who can help me.
But why wouldn’t you.
You can make my life better again,
You can make me live again.
I wish you touched my eyes,
I wish you could make me see god things again.
All you have to do is just pick up the phone,
And let me hear your voice.
Doesn’t matter what you say is good or bad,
I just want to hear your ok.
