As I once told you before
I am telling you again
I am trying to move on
As hard as I can
But my heart is full of pain
Though I keep denying it
And yes, I know I seem so strong,
But it's not easy, I admit
And I don't want you to know
But you'll know it anyhow
I'd like to run away
But I'm staying put right now.
When you ask me why I'm crying
I cannot answer you
I just want you to leave me
Though, I want to hug you too
I know you cannot understand
But listen, don't just go
Just stay and soothe my wounds for now
And one day you will know
It's cold to stay without you
It's hard when you are there
But when it comes together
It's the cold I cannot bear.
