every night I look outside
and see shadows covering the world
all the lights turned out
a thunder sounds far away
but yet very close
I can feel your pain in the dark
your cold tears on my face
I scream out for you into the night
but my voice wouldn't reach you
for the dark is just too strong
I wish that I cold hold you
protect you from all the shadows
but please don't cry for all this
