Ignore the friendship that you have
And risk being alone
When pain may be all that you might find
In a woman so appealing

At a time of dressing for success
In a world devoid of feeling
All she leaves behind
Is this wound in need of healing
When a distant voice over the phone
Still keeps her on your mind

But your one true love is never coming home
And life has lost all meaning
