Tribute to Dawn
O Aurora, shining lady
Starting days with warm red light
Guide your brother into safety
Helios, so fiery bright
When you, with your rose red fingers
Touch the golden heaven’s gate
He can ride out with his wagon
And thus start a whole new day
And the crimson morning glory
Radiating from your wings
Will then cause the owl to tire
And the birds to wake and sing
Then, your sister takes the task of
Guiding strangers with pale rays
O Aurora, don’t you mourn then
Tomorrow is a bright new day
