Started out by being friends
Not knowing how where it ends

Slightly surprised by the little time it took
Before you had me captured with that innocent look
Had me where you wanted since moment one
Even had me asking if it wasn't just for fun

You told me it wasn't just a joke or so
That you just didn't know how far it would go
Now there's rumors of some secret untold
Stories of a hidden lie getting unfold

Don't know if I should even care
Just want to kiss you, I wish I'd dare
What already happened can't be undone
But no regrets we both had fun

I think you know but maybe not
Think I told you but I might have forgot
I really liked you, and I still do
Can't think of a reason for hating you

But is it so hard for you to see
That this situation is killing me
I don't have any regrets at all
But the way you're acting makes me feel small

If it's not just a game I might even do it all again
Honestly just tell me where and tell me when
See I don't expect "I Love You..." and all that
But I do need to know just where I'm at!

I need an honest answer I want out
Can't handle all these feelings of doubt

In the end it turned out to be nothing but a lie
To tell me the truth I guess you're just a bit too shy
Though it turned out to be one of my fears
You'll never ever be worth the tears

To be honest it wasn't that big a blow
There's just one more thing I want you to know
To tell me yourself you just didn't have the guts
And if your girl stays with you, man she really is nuts

Does your girl even know everything we did
Or don't you want the pieces of the puzzle to fit
Just hope her and I will never meet
Cause be sure she'll know you're just a cheat



I wrote this for a guy I met, really liked him and thought I could trust him... After a while he started acting weird so I wrote this poem...couple days before I wanted to send it to him I found out he had a girlfriend... That's when I wrote the last 3 paragraphs...I never intended to cause trouble... And I hope she knows that... J. I hope you get what you deserve
